Special funding for Christmas Covenant at Africa Forum
In 2021, WMJM committed financial support for Central Conference voices to share information about the Christmas Covenant across the connection. Support has included communication and organizing expenses. WMJM supports the Christmas Covenant legislation because it can lead to a more diverse church that embraces difference and honors self-determination.
This special 2023 fundraising event is to support the travel costs for members of the Christmas Covenant team to attend the Africa Forum in Johannesburg, South Africa April 21-24. Team members will be traveling from The Philippines, North America, and Europe.
Planners of the Africa Forum have invited Christmas Covenant representatives to participate and share this proposal for UMC restructuring, initiated and supported by Central Conference leaders from The Philippines, Africa, and Europe.
Please consider a generous gift of $20, $35, $50, $100, or more, or choose the amount you prefer.
Your gift will be processed via our partner in justice, the California-Pacific office of the Methodist Federation for Social Action.
